My Visit to Trump Tower Waikiki

I was fortunate to accompany a friend during their walkthrough inspection at Trump Tower Waikiki.  As you’d expect, the people in the sales office and those involved in the final inspection process were very professional and congenial.  The same can be said of the men and women finishing the building construction.

The building is still a “hardhat area”, so we weren’t allowed to go anywhere except to the apartment.  The 2-bedroom apartment was well done; very stylish and modern.  I liked the angles used in the floor plan; it definitely was not a boring box.  We were on the 33rd floor, so the views were stupendous.  The one thing I find a bit troubling is that there is no assigned parking.  All owners must valet park their cars.

Like all new construction projects, each apartment will likely have its share of minor defects requiring developer touch up.  This apartment was no different.  I’m told residents may begin occupying the building in September, but it appears much work must be done to accommodate that schedule.
